Meet the Artist
My love for jewelry started when I was a little girl. The sparkle of the metal and gems was simply mesmerizing to me
and I was always wanting to stop and peek at jewelry when we would go out - soon my aunt's starting gifting me pieces for
my birthday and I was hooked! In my thirties, as an artist at heart, I went to the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis
where I started down a path that would teach me so much about many art mediums and myself. Since I came from an abusive home
and ended up married to an abusive husband for too many years, I had a lot to learn about life, relationships, people, and
myself and a lot of healing to do. And as a single parent of two wonderful children, my lifelong art and healing journey had
just begun. I took metalsmithing and design courses and hated the medium at the time, but fell in love with it later. 😜
But my true awakening happened in a hand-building ceramics course at Herron. As an AuDHD adult
(though I wouldn't find that out until later on) I had many things to learn and unlearn, perfectionism being the biggest
offender in classes. My ceramics professor helped me see past the lines I had inadvertently placed around everything and for
the first time I was able to truly create something - no plan, no blueprint. And it was amazing - I had finally started
to loosen the mask and lower the walls and started to become myself, but I was still looking for safety.
At about this time, I was introduced to energies and frequencies and was instantly fascinated. So I studied them along with
chakras, and developed a yoga practice and started to implement listening to healing frequencies and living with intention. I knew
then that this is what I wanted to do, I wanted to create jewelry - intentional pieces that bring beauty and healing through the earth's
natural offerings with a whimsical soul. I wanted to empower other women who may have found themselves in a similar situation to stay
strong and to believe in themselves. I had a long struggle ahead of me and it wasn't until much later that I had healed through enough of
the trauma to begin my journey into owning my own business. It was then that I knew that I wanted to create magical talismans with
intention for each soul's journey, and it wasn't until 2026 that I knew I wanted to build something with my own two hands that
empowers women to believe in themselves, their magic, and shows them that they are not alone - like I had mostly been.
Just like I had been helped by Mother Earth, energies, and magic I wanted to create pieces flowing with that same intention for you.
