Meet the Artist
My love for jewelry started when I was a little girl. The sparkle of the metal and gems was simply mesmerizing to me. I was always wanting to stop and peek at jewelry when we would go out, soon my aunt's starting gifting me pieces for my birthday. I was hooked.
I'd always been in love with crafting and went to the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis where I started down the path of my art journey. Along the way I picked up gemstone beads, silver, and gold-filled wires and tried my hand at creating. It was so much fun, but my true awakening happened in a hand-building ceramics course at Herron. My professor helped me see past the lines I had inadvertently mentally placed around everything and for the first time I created something without a plan or blueprint. It was amazing!! I knew then that this was what I wanted to do, I wanted to create jewelry - whimsical, fantasy styled intentional pieces that bring beauty and healing through the earth's natural offerings.
At about this time, I was introduced to energies and frequencies and was instantly fascinated. So I studied them along with chakras, developed a yoga practice and implemented living with intention. It was then that I knew that I wanted to create magical pieces with intention for each soul's journey.
