Cleaning
Included with your art, you will find a polishing cloth for later use. Your piece's ProtectaClear coating is designed to seal out tarnish, fingerprints, and oxidation for months of wear — with regular use, most pieces stay bright and tarnish-free for 6 months to a year or longer before the coating begins to naturally wear.
Please avoid using the polishing cloth until the coating has fully worn away and true tarnish appears on the metal itself — using it too early can scratch or dull the protective finish before its time. Once you do see the coating has worn through, the polishing cloth's gentle abrasives will restore the shine beneath.**
The cloth works until it turns black everywhere, then it is no longer usable.
**Use gentle pressure as to not deform the jewelry. Heat and pressure can mold metal.
Care

All pieces need to be treated gently and with care. Do not bend or twist.

Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, cleaners, harsh chemicals, or prolonged contact with water — these can wear down the coating faster than normal use.

Keep out of sunlight, store in a cool dry place when not worn, and don't sleep or shower with jewelry on.

To extend the life of your piece's coating, store in an air-tight, non-metal container with anti-tarnish tabs.

Gently wipe with a dry, soft cloth when needed.
